Vice President, Manufacturing
Scott Warlick joined INSYS Therapeutics in June 2017 as site lead for the company’s manufacturing operations in Round Rock, Texas.
Mr. Warlick oversees manufacturing, engineering, materials management, EHSS, API R&D and administration, along with dotted-line responsibilities for site QA/QC, IT and finance functions.
The Round Rock site is a full cGMP manufacturing facility supporting INSYS commercial and clinical needs. The site's capabilities include synthesis of THC and CBD API along with drug product sublingual and nasal sprays.
Prior to joining INSYS, Mr. Warlick was the Senior Director of Manufacturing of the Mylan granulation department in Morgantown, W.Va., from 2015 to 2017. The department of approximately 400 personnel included roller compaction, blending, milling and sifting, and fluid bed operations.
Mr. Warlick spent 23 years with Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. Beginning as a process engineer, he expanded his responsibilities into areas of technology, manufacturing, maintenance and project management. His last role at Mallinckrodt was site lead of the acetaminophen plant in Raleigh, N.C.
Scott has served on the North Carolina State University (NCSU) Chemical Engineering Advisory Board. He holds an M.B.A. from Duke University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from NCSU.
